What Can I Use the Textures For?

Short answer. It depends on your output format:

  • Standard - digital-only applications.
  • Production - physical output up to 1,000 units or 1,000 m².
  • Industrial - unlimited manufacturing.
  • Enterprise - corporate group coverage or AI-related usage.

The decision in one question

Does the texture stay on a screen, or does it become a physical thing?

If it stays on a screen - renders, CGI, architectural visualization, presentations, websites, marketing - that is Standard.

If you print it or produce physical items, for a project or a limited run up to 1,000 units or 1,000 m², that is Production.

If you manufacture continuously or at large scale with no limits, that is Industrial.

If you are a corporate group needing custom legal terms, or your project involves artificial intelligence, that is Enterprise, arranged via contact.

Worked examples

A visualization studio producing renders of an unbuilt hotel lobby: the texture never leaves the screen, so Standard.

One kitchen backsplash, a hotel lobby, a batch of printed panels: a defined project with a countable output, so Production. The limit is 1,000 units or 1,000 m² of printed surface, whichever comes first, within one project or product line.

A production line that never stops - a surface applied to a product you manufacture and sell on an ongoing basis: Industrial. No unit, area or project restrictions, and no reporting.

If you are between tiers

You do not have to guess correctly the first time. Any license can be upgraded to a higher tier at any time by paying the difference. If a project that started as a single installation turns into a product line, the upgrade path is open.

Who a license covers

Standard, Production and Industrial cover your own staff and the contractors producing the work for you - the print house, the fabricator, the visualization studio. They do not extend to other companies in a group or to franchisees. Access across several legal entities is what Enterprise is for.

One restriction that applies to every catalog license

Training AI or machine learning models on our assets is not permitted under Standard, Production or Industrial. If AI or machine learning is part of what you are building, it is arranged under an Enterprise or Exclusive agreement - tell us what you need.
