Short answer. A bespoke service, not a catalog item. We source the material you need, arrange an exclusive photo shoot and create an exclusive texture at the maximum size the material allows.
How it differs from the other licenses
Standard, Production, Industrial and Enterprise all govern how you may use a texture that already exists in the library. Exclusive is different in kind: the texture does not exist yet. It is commissioned.
What the process involves
We source the material you need - the specific slab, veneer or surface your project calls for. We arrange an exclusive photo shoot of it. And we create the texture at the maximum size the material allows, delivered as an uncompressed 16-bit PSB master.
Because the material is sourced for you rather than selected from stock, this is the route when a project depends on a particular named material, a particular block, or a surface nobody has photographed before.
What "exclusive" covers
Exclusivity scope and duration are defined in your individual agreement rather than by a fixed template. That is deliberate - what exclusivity needs to mean varies enormously between a single installation and a product line intended to run for years.
Who commissions it
Typically projects where the material is part of the identity of the result: a brand surface, a signature installation, a product line built around one specific stone. If a comparable texture from the catalog would do, the catalog is faster and cheaper. Exclusive exists for when it would not.
